The last McDonnell Douglas Jet Liner
Japan Air Lines McDonnell Douglass MD-90s were some of the last passenger air liners built by the McDonnell Douglas Corporation before its merger with Boeing. These impressive aircraft are over 150 feet (46 m) long and can carry up to 172 passengers 2,400 miles (3,860 km). Japan Air Lines used the MD-90 primarily for short-range national passenger flights. The MD-90 will soon be discontinued from service with Japan Air Lines.
